A married couple of German doctors are fighting to bring high-tech care to Bolivian children suffering from heart diseases. First in La Paz, then in the city of El Alto – at a height of 4.000 meters – or on the shores of the lake Titicaca.
In Bolivia, at an altitude of 4.000 meters there are more than five thousand newborns who suffer from heart diseases. For 14 years a married couple of German doctors have been trying to cure these children. But the country still remains defiant of modern medicine.
