50 years after the beginning of the Australian Civil Rights movement, a small minority is still trying to find its place within modern Australia. The younger Aborigines are spearheading nowadays’ struggle.

We call them the First Australians, but statistically they seem to be the last. The Aborigines have been oppressed since the arrival of the European colonists two centuries ago.  There are no more than 500,000 of them left – compared to Australia’s 24 million inhabitants. Subject to domestic violence, addictions, educational failure and unemployment, they are the most disadvantaged demographic group.
Discover the story of four exceptional youths committed to saving their lands and struggling to have their cultural difference recognized – on the spiritual, social and political levels.
