Thanks to the Wagner company, a secret army of mercenaries serving the Kremlin, it is protecting the regime of Faustin-Archange Touadéra in exchange for mining resources. Taking advantage of France's loss of influence in this former colony, Russia, under the guise of bringing stability, is imposing itself in this country regularly plagued by conflict.
