François heads into the legendary forest of Brocéliande, located in the heart of Brittany.

Having greeted the Madonna of Motorcyclists in Porcaro, he discovers some Celtic remains, in the company of a druid. A little further on, he is initiated into the art of chivalrous combat by king Arthur, before learning about falconry from an expert. But the magic of the forest has also touched other spirits: scrap-metal poet Robert Coudray and his automatons, the Roquier family who runs the Brittany regional circus, and Dominique Ferré, who is reviving long-forgotten Breton games.
