With its 1,047 kilometres of coastline, Corsica is the 3rd largest island in the Mediterranean. Sandy beaches, nature reserves, coastal marshes, mountains and maquis shrubland make up a unique and varied territory.
François sets out to discover the natural riches of this territory in company of those who protect it. Among them are Jean-Philippe Giordano, one of the few coral fishermen, Jacques Abbatucci who is reviving the Saïnata, an endemic breed of Corsican cow, and Pierre Moisson, a vet who works in a tortoise sanctuary that is the only one of its kind in Europe.
