Diwa is 11 years old. She is one of the thousands of victims of a crime that is totally disregarded in Europe, but which is devastating the Philippines. She was raped by her parents, livestreaming to meet the demands of foreign pedophiles who would pay to watch her being raped, and would give instructions remotely.

In her own words, she tells the story of a little girl who is fed to predators, a “business” in which every child, every sexual abuse has a price. "It depended on what they wanted to do with us and what they were going to ask us to do."
Across the country, the phenomenon exploded during lockdown.  It has never declined since the end of the pandemic.
Diwa tells us about a demand that has become ever increasing since lockdown. “I was their favorite, because because I’m a girl. So I only had one day off. As soon as I sat on the couch, they would call me. They would tell me that  it wasn’t going to take long. They would blackmail me. If I did not do what they asked, they would leave naked outside.”
Those who carry out the rapes are in the Philippines, those who order them are Westerners. Thanks to documents they got from the ongoing investigation, our team identified two men: one from Switzerland and another from the UK. No darkweb, no cryptocurrency. It all happens on Facebook, via some of the world's most popular money transfer services. Diwa, her younger brother and her younger cousin have found refuge in Preda, their new home, in the Olongapo region, west of Manila, the capital. Among those helping them recover is Father Shay Cullen, 79, who has lived here for half a century. An exclusive investigation, carried out in collaboration with the daily newspaper Le Monde, to give a stronger impact to these revelations.
