This is the skeleton of Trypanosama Brucei – in other words, the Tsetse fly. The Trypanosama form a great family of parasites of whom the most famous is responsible for the sleeping sickness.

After being transmitted by a Tsetse fly's bite, the parasite first causes fevers and drowsiness.
