Shipwreck after shipwreck, the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology of Cartagena recounts the saga of the navigators who have shaped our civilisation.

Within their waters, the seas of our planet contain the memories of the sailors and others who have travelled them. The ARQUA museum, with its rooms featuring glass, water and light, is built like a boat. Located in Cartagena in Southern Spain, the museum floats on the waters of history, and displays to the public a collection of objects brought up from the depths of the sea.
