The Pyrenees are one of Europe’s oldest mountain range and shelters a wildlife that is almost impossible to observe, as the area is inaccessible. Our team lives on site and will film its wildlife for two years.

Discover wildlife filming behind the scenes and find out that more often than not, animals are much more cunning than men. Unfortunately, this lush world is still not very accessible – the animals fear the presence of man in this emblematic massif. To discover them, you have to investigate, find clues, follow tracks and be very patient before you finally get the chance to see them.
Luckily, the journey proves to be just as exciting as the objective: chance upon a mountain-size game of hide-and-seek where man must understand nature and tame it in order to discover its secrets.

These species interact with the coral to form a complex and delicate ecosystem dependent on each other for survival. Yet today the coral—and therefore all the organisms that depend on it—is gravely at risk. In a visually stunning series of one the most beautiful natural habitats on Earth, our international award winning crew has followed a team of scientists for 5 years. Their mission is to develop groundbreaking technological solutions to save the GBR from destruction.

To the rhythm of the tides and for 24 hours, we will sneak into the secret and tumultuous life of the strange creatures of the shorelines, to discover their incredible way of life.

"The secret life of shorelines" takes us between land and sea where the ceaseless ebb and flow of the water shapes mysterious and spellbinding universes. Sandy, rocky, silty or made of coral; cold or temperate; subjected to strong or weak tidal ranges, each shore is a world of its own, populated with unique species.

At the heart of these remarkable environments, we will discover the various strategies animals and plants have developed to survive the periods when the sea washes over everything and those when it brutally disappears. Because, twice a day, the dwellers of the shores must adapt to brutal temperature or oxygen changes, stand firm against the waves, currents or the violent gusts of wind.

To each shore its heroes, and to each hero its strategy to brave the elements. From the rocky tide pools of the Salish Sea in Canada, to the emerging coral plateaus of Kimberley, Australia; from the shoals and seagrass beds of Zanzibar, Tanzania, to the dunes and lagoons of Wadden Sea, Germany, we will follow the incredible adventures of the animals of the seashores.

You’ll never see shorelines the same way again.

When one thinks of kangaroos, one thinks of Australia. And yet, they completed a fantastical voyage around the world, from North and South America, to Europe and Antarctica, before landing in Oceania. Where do the animals symbolic of each five continents really come from?

65 million years ago, dinosaurs perished, allowing the advent of mammals on every continent. Over that time, climates have changed, continents have shifted, oceans and seas have risen and died out, new predators have appeared provoking the evolution of these animals and great migrations for survival often far from where they were first seen, from one continent to another.
Scientists use the latest research of evolutionary paleontology to tell the 65 million year odyssey of animals we think we know so well: the monkey, the elephant, the horse, the bear and the kangaroo.

Cranes, geese and swallows are literally and figuratively above our borders – three quarters of the birds on the European continent are migratory. From the Mediterranean to the Baltic Sea, millions of them cross Europe every year following multiple airways, sometimes more than 5,000 kilometers long.

Of the approximately 600 species of land birds that nest in Europe, almost half migrate each year in spring and fall. Migratory birds fly thousands of kilometers to reach their final destination in Africa or the Middle East, the most favorable regions for breeding and finding food.

While crossing Europe, they have to endure the drying up of wetlands, pollution, urbanization, intensive agriculture and climate change. A new kind of community solidarity is being formed: lovers of migratory birds are flocking, in wait for their return. Driven by the same passion, they pass the torch from country to country to watch over them. What if the birds above and beyond our borders end up being the reason we try to save our planet?
Discover a new type of relationship between humans and wild animals in this spectacular wildlife film.

All along the Arctic coast of Norway, there's a bloody battle going on between three different species: orcas, whales…and humans! And it's all over the vast schools of herring that migrate to the Frozen North to seek shelter there in the fjords.!

Follow Didier Noirot, one of the world's greatest underwater cameramen, as he tracks down the giants of the deep - using 8K underwater cameras and drones - and dives right into the heart of the hunt. Orcas – or "killer whales" – have developed what is called the "carousel" technique for catching herring: they surround them with bubbles then drive them up to the surface. But now the other whales are no longer scared of joining in to claim their share of the booty. Then there are the humans, with their huge nets: they too are after the same prize. Who is going to win the Herring War?

In the mythical Eastern Ethiopian city of Harar, Youssouf Mume Saleh feeds a clan of spotted hyenas every evening. Elsewhere in the Horn of Africa, these animals can terrorize populations...

Youssouf is one of the last guardians of a tradition that is over one hundred years old. Long ago, Harar signed a non-aggression pact with the hyenas, and that pact still exists today. The wild hyenas roam the streets of the city freely, and locals are not worried. They need these natural “rubbish collectors”. In addition, the hyenas of Hara protect the population from attack by foreign hyenas.

At a time when all over the world conflicts between man and wild animals are increasing, here exists a unique relationship of cohabitation between man and a major carnivore. This film recounts the story of this exceptional and fascinating man-animal relationship.
