Oscar Scarpati is Argentinian; he is well known all over the world for his unusual and non-violent methods of training horses. He fixes “relationship problems” between horses and their owners throughout the world.
In the “Doma tradicional” (traditional taming and dressage), the animals are put to the test and are often frightened. Many owners dread this: under stress, a timid and nervous horse can quickly have unpredictable reactions and become dangerous. On the other hand, Oscar Scarpati advocates a completely different method: he speaks the horse’s language. He knows how to interpret its body language: he observes the movements of its ears, legs and whole body. The non-violent trainer himself moves accordingly to make contact with the animals and gain their trust in a more gentle way.
