In the heart of the savannah, in the vast Samburu lands of the Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy, Naomi saves endangered elephants and Pauline is in charge of the food. They are the first elephant keepers in Africa and work at the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary. Their goal: to save baby elephants before releasing them back into the savannah once they are weaned and ready to live the life they were destined for. It is a tough fight because they are often brought in in very bad condition. In spite of the first successes, the ordeals continue due to climate change, which is causing increasing drought. However, they are among those who are determined to do everything in their power so that the community can stay on their land, through education in school, women's emancipation... These are all ingredients that they want to claim.
