In the wake of the Shoah, the horror of the Nazi machine was gradually revealed to its full extent. And yet, the anti-Semitic phoenix has risen again from the ashes. After the war, survivors of the death camps were the victims of a pogrom in Kielce, Poland.
In the Arab world, following the creation of the state of Israel, Jewish populations were mainly forced to leave, paving the way for a new version of anti-Semitism without Jews. A revolution came from the Vatican, which officially brought an end to 2,000 years of Catholic anti-Judaism. But anti-Semitism mutates and takes on new faces, that of anti-Zionism, negationism, and even anti-Semitism in the name of anti-racism. In the 21st century, a new chapter is being written. While it has never been so vigorously condemned and outlawed, anti-Semitism is on the rise, either openly or covertly, and accompanied by new forms of violence.

World history through a few major dates: history comes to life under our eyes with bold and entertaining visuals, revisited through the prism of memory.
A date is a snapshot, a flashback which requires crossing disciplines such as history, art, archeology and literature for a vibrant and sensitive reading of the past. It arouses our childhood curiosity, recalling when we dreamed of a time machine.
The series is conceived to potentially become a key reference in teaching history.

In the Middle Ages, Paris gave birth to the world’s most famous stone edifice: Notre-Dame. 7 centuries have passed since its construction. Watch history come alive thanks to 3D reproduction of the monument. A dramatic tale of ambition, talent, destruction, blood and rebirth.
We tell the incredible 700 year saga of the builders and Church’s Men who invented modern day architecture in France and throughout Europe. Driven by the quest for perfect harmony, they created one of the most emblematic sacred monuments known today. 3D animation and documentary will come together in a history film to give an accurate representation of this great historical fresco. Indeed, the fictional tale, entirely in animation sequences will be the backbone of the film, around which the documentary scenes will be built to provide specific historic and technical explanations.

In April 2019, the world held its breath as Notre Dame, the most wondrous of cathedrals, almost burnt to the ground and with her 800 years of history.
Our film tells Notre Dame’s story, starting in the Middle Ages, when master builders reinvented the art of construction to erect Gothic cathedrals.
Eight centuries of passion, talent, blood, destruction and rebirth, during which time the cathedral witnessed some tumultuous moments in the history of France, from the most glorious to its darkest periods. A gripping docu drama that uses 3D animation combined with exclusive footage and interviews of historians, writers (such as Ken Follet, The Pilars of the Earth) scientists, architects and engineers.

It was in the 12th century that the foundation stone of Notre-Dame was laid in Paris, under the impetus of Bishop Maurice de Sully. Thus began a gigantic construction site: stonemasons, blacksmiths, carpenters, masons, all the guilds were involved in building the monument.
Motivated by faith, driven by the ambition to build a cathedral whose dimensions would outshine even their wildest dreams, the builders of Notre-Dame invented a new architectural style that soon inspired the entire West: ars francigenum, or French art.

In the 13th century, when the construction of Notre-Dame de Paris had just been completed, its builders had to push themselves even further: the new cathedrals that were springing up all over Europe offered them new grandiose technical challenges and competition.
Hundreds of men and women put in countless hours to embellish Notre-Dame de Paris and enable this jewel of stone, wood, iron and glass to stand the test of time. For her trials were not over: she would have to face wars, revolutions and, above all, the ravages of time. In the 19th century, two men in particular have made the cathedral more relevant than ever: Victor Hugo magnified it in his novel Notre-Dame de Paris, and the architect Viollet-Le-Duc thoroughly restored it. His passion for the cathedral brought it back to life. Thanks to him, Notre-Dame became the beating heart of Paris, once again.

The nuclear era, revived today by Vladimir Putin, began in Los Alamos under Robert Oppenheimer, who developed the atomic bomb for the Manhattan Project. After Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Oppenheimer opposed the hydrogen bomb and was accused of disloyalty in 1954, leading to his downfall. This film, using interviews and declassified FBI files, examines his complex legacy and enduring remorse.

As the 50th anniversary of Franco's death and the 90th anniversary of the Francoist coup near, this story looks back at the war that shook Spain to its core. A war opened in 1936, but never really closed since.
Of the Civil War that tore Spain apart, we generally retain only a few famous images, such as Robert Capa's photographs, Orwell's books, or Picasso's painting Guernica, a symbol of both Nazi barbarism and Franco's dictatorship. Through the poignant testimonies and accounts of people who lived through this tragic period, this documentary delves into the roots of dictatorial regimes to better understand what is at stake today, in Spain as in Europe, in the defense of freedom and democracy. The story is structured around two 52-minute episodes. The first covers the period from 1936 to 1939; the second covers the years from 1939 to 1953, the date of the treaty sealing a cooperation agreement between Spain and the United States.

Three episodes, one continent, nine countries, twenty characters, sixty years of history. This series tells the story of a continent "under influence", through the destinies of men and women at the heart of the tumultuous relations between Latin America and its troublesome neighbor, the United States.
Presidents, opponents, secret agents, victims of torture, guerrillas, human rights lawyers, investigative journalists, former diplomatic advisors... From the 1960s to the present day, their words bring to life this historic epic in its political, geopolitical, social, and human dimensions.

Discover the history of European peasants, from the 6th century to the present day, in a four-part series that travels the European countryside following the traces of its hidden history, which has long remained unwritten.
The European peasants - an extensive people whose history goes back more than a thousand years and is intertwined with that of the continent. Through four films set across Europe, historians, archaeologists and modern-day peasants evoke the singularities of this epic of peasant communities: centuries of oppression and struggles, solidarity and dreams, and the constant stubbornness to remain "peasants" in spite of everything. Beyond the clichés and myths, we discover the peasants’ vision of the world: a "moral economy" based on sustainable and fair resource management.
Today, as we come to grips with the fragility of our urban civilization, these age-old peasant aspirations raise a question that is more relevant than ever: that of land and its use.
