Germany : Hanns-Christian, 52, Space Doctor and Palaeontologist.
Hanns-Christian Gunga, is "very brainy yet doesn't take things too seriously".
When he is not giving lessons at the university of medicine, working for the European Space Agency, which involves extensive travel, or writing his book, Hanns-Christian is a very active man.
When he is not involved in his research, he spends his time with his wife, Luise and his three sons, Léonard, 12, Maxime, 11 and Arthur, 10. Hanns-Christian and his wife want their children to become open and inquisitive adults, in phase with the development of Europe and the world. They do not have a television, but every day Hanns-Christian buys 3 or 4 newspapers with his oldest son.
Hans-Christian is always calm and level-headed. He is also an eternal optimist, not afraid of a challenge. He is an endearing character, with a surprising degree of playful imagination. He is fascinated by old stones and once offered a large pebble to his wife as a love token.
