The inhabitants of a fishing village on the remote south coast of Newfoundland are to pack their bags - for good. The government supports the relocation with 270,000 dollars per household, maintaining public infrastructure would be even more expensive. Gaultois is one of five communities along the south coast of Newfoundland that are not accessible by road - to get there, you have to take a ferry or helicopter. 100 of the original 700 inhabitants still live here. But the place is by no means "dead". Despite its fading glory, the community in Gaultois still exists. In 2023, there will be a new vote on the continued existence of Gaultois - but the village is torn apart.

The village of Guanabara III can only be reached by boat; it is secluded in the Amazon jungle in northern Brazil. Sao Paolo de Olivenca in the state of Amazonas is the next largest village, not far from the border triangle of Brazil, Colombia and Peru. The Tikuna ethnic group lives here, and the village's headman Kazike Fernandes can hardly remember when it started or why they did it in the first place: "We abandoned our naturally planted gardens and we went into slash-and-burn agriculture". The Tikuna are now known throughout the region for their "Aula Viva", the living classroom. Whole village communities come to them to learn in the classroom.

Located in the heart of the Normandy peninsula, the marshes of Cotentin and Bessin are home to a very rich fauna and flora. Endemic plants, migratory birds and extensive grasslands have created an environment over the centuries that has favoured the development of human activities. Today, the 30,000 hectares of marshes and polders are still a very active area, both in terms of biodiversity and human agricultural activities. An incredible and little-known natural space that changes its nature in every season.

Yabusame is the name of the Japanese art of archery from the back of a galloping horse. It is the only samurai tradition that has survived unchanged for the last 1,000 years. Mounted archery events have been taking place since the 4th century. Since then, riding and archery techniques as well as the samurai ethos have been passed down from generation to generation in the country's yabusame schools. But recently, a revolution has been raging in male-dominated Japan. In the magnificent Towada National Park, Ayuka Kamimura is working to revolutionise Yabusame. The charismatic 45-year-old is Japan's first female Yabusame sport shooter. She has opened up the world of mounted archery to women. Kamimura's women's yabusame competition takes place every year at the cherry blossom.

At birth, is a girl as likely to become as rich as a boy? Statistics testify to the financial inferiority of women in today's developed societies. Although they are supposed to be autonomous and independent, surveys reveal invisible mechanisms at every stage of their lives, which are reinforced by institutional practices inherited from the past and contribute to their impoverishment.

What is this curse that prevents women from earning as much money as men? From a very early age, little girls are conditioned by the prejudices and preconceptions of the past. They get less pocket money than their brothers, who demand more... An approach that is set to remain different over the years. Girls are better at school, they do better in higher education, but they often end up choosing less lucrative careers. Is their "natural" attraction to nursing professions real or artificial? When they choose "better paid" careers, they come up against the so-called "glass ceiling". Added to this is the "motherhood penalty". Discrimination against women in the workplace is thus relayed into the private life, where unpaid domestic work gradually organizes the impoverishment of women... a long-identified sea serpent that continues to ruin women's lives. In France, Germany and the U.S., institutions sometimes drive the nail in, reinforcing the advantage acquired by men. Awareness is growing, and women are realizing that they must take their financial destiny into their own hands... or else they could lose their independence.

A series of discussions with international specialists who think the world through the prism of property. We will explore this multi-faceted concept with a loose temporality, through the ownership of body and mind, our rights and the idea of collective property.

In 2022, how to conceptualize property? Can we move away from a solely Western vision? What can we learn from the vision of traditional societies in Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania? How was it historically understood in China, India or Japan? And how is it understood today in the Anglo-Saxon world, where property ownership, as in the Middle Ages, is often divided between ownership of the land and ownership of the house or building (leasehold/freehold)?
Is the cycle of property rights we are in still expanding, or is it coming to an end? With the sharing economy, are we replacing the principle of exclusive exploitation by that of shared use? Will the commons model become dominant?

Everywhere on the planet cities seem to pop up and grow, sometimes despite climatic or geographical conditions that seem impossible to live in. How do people acclimate to lead a normal life?

Follow Alexandra, a travel reporter, to meet those living in the most extreme cities of the world. The coldest, warmest, highest, most humid, etc. First stop in Yakutsk, Siberia and then La Paz in Bolivia,  to show the incredible adaptability of their inhabitants.
Some are extremely cold, others extremely hot, very high, very isolated or incredibly densely populated. The planet already has dozens of cities which, seen from our perspective, do not appear to be very appealing places to live. And yet, people like them and live in them, unaware that their daily life is a feat in itself.
Journalist Alexandra Alevêque will experience life in some of the most extreme cities in the world, living in each one long enough to learn about the locals' way of life.
What she brings back is an insight into humankind's incredible capacity to adapt and find behavioural and organisational solutions.
What do these unusual cities look like?
What is life like for their inhabitants?
What can we learn from them?

Deep Throat is the story of the first mainstream porn film. It tackled sex liberation, women’s liberation and divided feminists. Preview a whole new dimension, in the light of the #MeToo movement.

It was the first time that a porn movie was shown on the big screen for the general public. The first porn star in history, celebrated by the media and fashionable stars, Linda Lovelace was the first to speak out against the conditions of porn a few years later. No one believed that she had been the victim of threats and violence from her husband. The resonance with today is staggering. At the time of the #MeToo movement, her testimony and its reception takes on a whole new dimension.
First "sex war", as it was called at the time, within the feminist movement which had just been born: two sides appear and radically oppose each other, those in favor of pornography and prostitution - the pro-sex - advocating the liberation of women's sexuality without censorship, and the abolitionists on the other side, denouncing the exploitation of women and the rape culture conveyed by porn. A fracture that is still relevant today.

For three months, with three stories coming from both sides, Internet viewers will have access to a virtual wall where they will see videos from Havana and Miami, as well as contributions (videos, pictures and texts) coming from the audience. The project will be first on line and will prepare the ground for a television film. The project will be a coalition of producers and broadcasters from Europe, the US and the Hispanic world so as to make it a real global coproduction.
